Review of group axioms and basic theorems. Examples of groups, including their group presentations. Subgroups, costs and Lagrange's theorem. Normal subgroups and factor groups. Group homomorphisms, fundamental theorem of group homomorphisms. Permutation groups, Caylery's theorem, alternating groups. Series of groups, solvable groups.
