2.14411 PAEDIATRIC & NEONATAL NURSING

This course is a specialty course and is compulsory for students enrolled in midwifery and paediatric stand. The course aims to upgrade students' knowledge and skills to assess, diagnose, prevent and manage diseases and other childhood conditions in children from birth to 12 years. The major topics to be examined include common signs and symptoms and causes or contributing factors of childhood diseases including communicable diseases, standards treatment and drugs, complication, preventative measures including immunisation policies and programs, and health education.
