2.14414 PRINCIPLES & PRACTICE OF MENTAL HEALTH NURSING
This course aims to expand students’ knowledge and skills in the application of mental health interventions and approaches to care and services to individuals with mental health problems and illness in the families and communities. The main areas for discussion are, the holistic and comprehensive approaches in the provision of mental health care and services to individual clients, families and the communities, mental health promotion and prevention, levels of mental health prevention, and psychosocial rehabilitation and psychotherapy, including the drugs used in the treatment of mental illness and problems.
