2.14514 NURSING EDUCATION PRACTICAL TEACHING

The course requires students to participate in the actual teaching/learning situations in the selected health training institution during semester two. The course involves designing and developing of a course in the area of students' professional interest and a six week work attachment at a health training institution to develop appropriate teaching and facilitation skills. Students are also required to draw-up learning contracts, and to work independently under the supervision of the preceptors or resource persons and the completion of a research project report totalling 3,000 words as well as a certification of the field practice by their respective preceptors.
