2.14516 COMMUNITY HEALTH PRACTICE II

This course prepares students to demonstrate competency in leading and conducting Family Health Services Program effectively and efficiently. The topics include concepts, model and theories of community health and nursing. Students are required to analyse PNG Family Health, the management of family health facilities, cold chain and logistic support and control, community health promotion and education. The course further explores the concepts of primary health care, integral human development and community advocacy including community health nursing in collaboration with other stakeholders, including the communities.
