2.14603 HEALTH SYSTEMS RESEARCH

The course aims to provide students with the knowledge of epidemiology, health statistics, and qualitative and quantitative methods to draw up research plans to investigate relevant health problems and plan out practical ways to solve them. The course also covers basic computing and students are required to use it for data entry, analysis and write up. The course topics include principles of basic epidemiology, health research and health systems research. Introduction to computing and epi info. These are taught through seminars, tutorials, practical exercises, computing and fieldwork.
