2.14609 MENTAL HEALTH & ORAL HEALTH

The aims of this course are to explore the nature and impact of mental illness upon the people of PNG and also to introduce the students to the problems of oral health in PNG and the implications for care. The course topics include aetiology - prevention and epidemiology services, the aetiology of oral diseases, primary and secondary prevention, and dental health diseases in PNG. The course is taught through seminars and group discussions.
