2.29907 IMAGING INSTRUMENTATION 2

In this course more technically advanced imaging equipment principles are covered, namely the fluoroscopic imaging equipment and other specific imaging modalities such as those for tomography, mammography and dental work. Image intensifiers used in operating theatres are also covered with specifics of generators used to power such high-powered equipment. Key features of fluoroscopic and these other units are taught together with hints for the care of the equipment and the care of operator and the public from undue radiation exposure.
