2.39904 CLINICAL PRACTICE
This course continues from Clinical Practice 1. Students continue to develop and integrate academic skills to practicum covering complex regions of the body including contrast examinations. It is undertaken in the first semester of third year. It also enables students to reflect on their practicum experiences and to develop skills in self directed learning and to generate knowledge, skills and behaviour from practicum experiences. The course involves students spending two to three days per week at selected practicum placements, participating, and performing a wide range of x-ray examinations pertaining to those regions of the body covered in the academic sessions.
Contact hours: Practical comprises 3 days per week at a clinical placement
Assessment: Case studies, assignments, practicum report (60%). Practical simulation exam (40%)
