2.49903 ADVANCED IMAGING
This course comprises the physics, principles of image acquisition, and operation as well as basic procedural techniques in Computer Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Digital Radiography (DR). Students may have the opportunity to visit clinical centres where the modality may exist. Graduates have the opportunity to pursue one of the specialties on a postgraduate level here in PNG or overseas.
Contact hours: 6 hours per week (lectures, practicals)
Assessment: Tests, assignments, reports (60%), final exam (40%)
