3.30803 STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP

This is an advanced course for undergraduate students. Leadership is the process of influencing leaders and followers to achieve organisational objectives through change. All students majoring in strategic management or public policy are required to enrol in this course. This course is about the theory and practice of effective leadership, which is important as it prepares leaders and potential leaders, regardless of the type of organisation they lead - private or public - for an effective and rewarding career. It has often been said that leadership can make or break an organisation. Understanding of what makes an effective leader is therefore very important if organisations are going to progress.
