3.40312 MATHEMATICAL PROGRAMMING

Students are introduced to a branch of management science, mathematical programming. It is assumed that students are well versed with matrix algebra and calculus-based optimisation. Techniques learnt will enable students to make practical allocative decisions given resource and other constraints. Extensive use is made of the QSB+ computer package during practicals.
