3.40601 INTERNATIONAL FINANCE

This course discusses the inherent exposures to a variety of risks that exist in both investment and financing decisions in the global context, and the various exchange rate and interest rate relationships that exist between many countries’ currency dominated assets. It also introduces the student to basic hedging strategies to cushion the adverse effects of foreign exchange fluctuations, and the finance and investment decision-making in the international environment.
