Students are introduced to the concepts, technical architecture, recent developments, and future opportunities in the new field of "direct access" electronic markets. Tricks of the trade such as deals and strategies (including cross boarder arbitrage, bond derivatives vs. OTC swaps, option strategies, etc.) are covered. The course is not fundamentally theoretical.
