7.62365 PRINCIPLES OF EPIDEMIOLOGY

The goal of this course is to introduce the basic principles and methods of epidemiology as they relate to the identification, control and prevention of ill health in the community. The skills that students learn will help them to read and evaluate the health literature. This should be of benefit to students in whatever area of health they work in. The emphasis of this course is on the application of epidemiology to the health of populations or communities.
