Mr. Marsh Kati completed a Bachelor of Economic Degree in 1986 from the University of PNG and worked for more than 20 years with Telikom PNG Limited in various managerial positions including Executive Manager Human Resources before joining UPNG and in particular the HRM Division as a Lecturer in 2007. Prior to obtaining the BEC Degree he also obtained a Diploma in Journalism and worked as a Government Information Officer with the Department of Prime Minister (Office of Information) for three years from 1980 to 1983. Mr. Kati teaches the courses: Introduction to Industrial Relations, Human Resource Economics, Compensation Management and Employment Contracts, Conflicts and Negotiations.
