The aim of this course is to develop an in-depth understanding of organizational and employment policies, employment philosophy and relevant employment practices. This course covers job design, human resource planning, recruitment, selection including employment tests and interviews, induction and employee orientation, placement and employee performance appraisal and development. It also emphasizes on the recent employment practices consequent up on globalization like out-sourcing, retrenchment/downsizing and their impact on employees and organizations and relevant laws of PNG.
