This course if offered during Lahara between Year-3 and Year-4. This course consists of eight weeks of internship in a business organization followed by submission of a report. This course is taken for eight weeks during November and January between third year and fourth year of the study. The Division will finalize the allocation of the students to various organizations and also the executive supervisor (from the company) and the faculty supervisor (from the school) for each student before the end of October of the year concerned. Students will work in the company allotted to them for eight weeks (including orientation) under the guidance of both the supervisors. The organizations are asked to allot one human resource executive to help the students in identifying a research/operational area, provide industrial visit, working space, access to company offices, library, work spots and canteen. Students should meet their faculty supervisors in order to have continuous guidance and support in carrying-out the internship and in writing report. Students will write the report and submit two copies of the report to the HRM Division Head.
Prerequisites: All HRM Courses offered up to the End of Year-3
Assessment: Based on the project Report.
