This course provides concepts, theories, practices, examples, tools, cases, experiences and discussions of how organisations can achieve higher performance through people management functions, organisational culture and leadership. This course discusses key HR functions such as Human Resource Planning, Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Performance Management, Compensation, Occupational Health and Safety, Culture and Leadership. In addition, the course will discuss the latest trends in HRM such as Organisational Capabilities and HR Professional Competencies.
Prerequisites: All HRM courses offered up to year 3 and 3.30801
Assessment: Continuous 60% + Final Examination 40%.
