This course focuses on relevant topics needed for business management students to understand the responsibilities of the financial manager. It discusses the environment of the financial manager and looks at the nature of problems and choices that characterise short-term and long-term finance. Capital Markets and investment decisions will however, only be briefly discussed.

All successful Applicants to the School of Business & Public Policy Undergraduate Programs will take up the

Business & Management Foundation Year.

Upon successful completion of the Business & Management Foundation Year with a minimum overall GPA of 1.75, successful students can then apply for the programs offered by the school.
