The onjective of the course is to develop an understanding of the information system development concepts and problem definition. Topics include management information systems concepts, planning and control, influences on information systems design, aspects of strategic management and decision-making process, identifying and defining user needs, and system theories such as general systems theory, viable system model, interactive planning and soft system methodologies.
