The course examines the academic literature in International Economics by first looking into the theoretical component which mainly comprised of microeconomic theory. Then, the course focuses on the macroeconomic framework to complement the application part of the literature. Low-dimensional economics models will be introduced to help students to gauge the understanding on basic economics and later to be extended to higher dimensional modelling. Theoretical economic models learnt in first part of the course will be then used to complement the application part of the literature which concentrates in the second half of the course
