The University of Papua New Guinea, (UPNG) wishes to inform prospective applicants that the UPNG Postgraduate Application programs to be offered by the University for academic year 2026 is now OPEN. It will close on the 05th of December 2025 (Friday) 4:06pm.
- All applicants for Postgraduate Program for the four school (School Natural and Physical Science, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Law and school of Medicine and Health Sciences) are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of K50 into UPNG General Account No: 1000583572 BSP, (WAIGANI) at the bank or can pay at the UPNG Cashier and attached the original receipt with your application. Make sure to indicate your name and correct date of deposit on the deposit slip when paying. Keep the receipt copy with you for verification purposes.
- Post graduate complete hard copy Application must be dropped off at the Academic and student Administration office.
- The University will NOT accept any late application after the closing date (05th of December 2025)

- If your name is not on the Final List, it means that your application for admission in 2026 has been unsuccessful.
- All information regarding 2026 Fees, Registration and Orientation will be included in the acceptance letter.
- All applications for Postgraduate Programs without the K50 payment submission WILL NOT be considered.
